Job Description

The Entry-Level Student Counsellor provides guidance and support to prospective students seeking study opportunities abroad. The role involves counselling students on suitable courses, institutions, and application processes while delivering excellent customer service. This position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals passionate about education and student support.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students on study options, courses, and institutions abroad.
• Provide accurate information on admission requirements and application procedures.
• Assist students with application documentation and basic form completion.
• Maintain proper records of student enquiries, applications, and follow-ups.
• Support senior counsellors with admissions and placement processes.
• Respond to student enquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and in-person meetings.
• Participate in education fairs, open days, and promotional events.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and partner institution guidelines.
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout the student journey.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in any discipline.
• NYSC completed.
• Little or no prior counselling experience required.
• Interest in international education and student services.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn CRM systems.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
