Mephalti Technology Limited is seeking a dependable Operations Lead to oversee daily field operations, coordinate delivery teams, and ensure efficient execution of logistics activities. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role requiring strong leadership and discipline.

Job Title: Operations Lead (Logistics & Field Operations)
Location: Uselu Shell, Benin City (Edo state)

* Supervise and coordinate field personnel (drivers, dispatch riders, support staff)
* Manage attendance, scheduling, and daily assignments
* Enforce operational rules and performance standards
* Serve as first escalation point for field issues
* Oversee daily logistics and delivery activities
* Track assignments, delivery completion, and delays
* Coordinate internally to resolve bottlenecks
* Ensure smooth execution of short-distance and bulk deliveries
* Monitor usage of vehicles, equipment, and tools
* Report breakdowns or maintenance needs
* Ensure responsible handling of company assets
* Enforce safety standards across operations
* Conduct safety briefings and incident reviews
* Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
* Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Identify workflow gaps and recommend improvements
* Ensure consistent execution across teams
* Prepare daily and weekly reports
* Track performance metrics
* Escalate only critical risks to management

* 3–6 years experience in operations, logistics, or field management
* Proven ability to manage field staff
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Familiarity with Nigerian logistics operations
* Experience supervising drivers or riders
* Fleet or asset management experience
* Basic reporting tools (Google Sheets, WhatsApp)

IMPORTANT
1. Must have experience working as operations and logistics officer for at least 2-3 years.
2. ⁠familiarity with logistics business and logistics startups will be an added advantage
