Job Description

The Product Growth Intern / Associate will work closely with the Product Development and Growth teams to support product adoption, customer engagement, and commercial growth.
The role also involves close collaboration with the Customer, theSuccess and Sales team to ensure the product delivers value to users while supporting business objectives. This role is well-suited for an early-career professional who is passionate about technology, product development, and business growth, and who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Growth Support:
•Support the Product Development team in building and improving features that drive user adoption and retention.
•Work with the Growth team to support initiatives aimed at increasing product usage, customer acquisition, and revenue.
•Assist in executing growth experiments, feature rollouts, and onboarding improvements.

Customer & Market Insight:
•Collaborate with the Customer Success team to gather feedback from customers and users.
•Help analyze customer behaviour and product usage to identify improvement opportunities.
•Document user journeys and highlight challenges faced by customers, especially within the Nigerian market.
Commercial & Performance Tracking:
•Track and report basic product and growth metrics such as sign-ups, activation, engagement, retention, and churn.
•Support go-to-market activities for new product features and improvements.
•Assist in preparing weekly or monthly reports for Product and Growth reviews.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
•Work with Engineering, Growth, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on product and growth goals.
•Support sprint planning activities, product documentation, and release coordination where needed.
•Ensure learnings from experiments and customer feedback are properly documented.

Required Skills

•Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
•NYSC completed or currently serving (preferred but not mandatory).
•0–2 years of experience (including internships, SIWES, or graduate roles) in product, growth, marketing, or tech-related roles.

Skills & Competencies
•Strong interest in product management, growth, and technology.
•Basic understanding of digital products, user experience, and customer journeys.
•Analytical skills with the ability to work with data using Excel or Google Sheets.
•Good communication and collaboration skills.
•Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
•Familiarity with tools like Jira, Notion, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar tools is an advantage.
