Architect AI native development workflows with CLAUDEmd, Planning Mode, Skills, and automation for safe, governed Claude Code adoption.

Description

Most engineers use AI like autocomplete. This course is different. It is designed for experienced developers who want to move beyond casual prompting and learn how to architect AI native development workflows using Claude Code. You will master CLAUDEmd, the system contract that encodes architecture boundaries, coding standards, guardrails, and testing policies. You will learn Planning Mode and roadmap driven development, turning vague feature ideas into structured artifacts like REQUIREMENTS.md, ROADMAP.md, and STATE.md. You will build and deploy reusable Claude Skills and custom slash commands to automate testing, review workflows, refactoring constraints, and documentation generation.

This Course Offers

  • Mastering CLAUDEmd for governance: Design and implement a production grade CLAUDEmd that encodes architecture rules, guardrails, testing policies, and governance standards. Configure Claude Code for large repositories and monorepos using layered governance and folder level overrides.
  • Planning Mode and roadmap driven development: Use Plan Mode to transform ambiguous feature ideas into structured artifacts (REQUIREMENTS.md, ROADMAP.md, STATE.md) with phased execution. Create traceable, auditable workflows that connect intent to execution.
  • Claude Skills, slash commands, and automation: Build and deploy reusable Claude Skills and custom slash commands to automate real world developer workflows including testing, review workflows, refactoring constraints, and documentation generation.
  • Safe AI adoption and failure mode mitigation: Implement mandatory test gating, CI enforcement, and human in the loop workflows for safe AI assisted development. Detect and mitigate AI failure modes such as hallucinations, unsafe migrations, and silent logic drift. Design and document an organizational safe usage policy for enterprise scale AI adoption.

Why We Love This Course

  1. It treats Claude as infrastructure, not a chatbot. You learn to encode discipline into automation and scale AI safely across teams.
  2. It covers governance and safety deeply. Many AI coding courses ignore hallucinations, unsafe migrations, and logic drift. This one does not.
  3. It includes a comprehensive capstone where you embed Claude Code into a real development lifecycle from idea to roadmap to execution to automation to governance.
  4. One student review noted the course materials are comprehensive and carefully selected, and the course is best with AI guidance.

AI is changing software development. But most engineers are still using it like autocomplete. The question is whether you want to learn how to architect AI native development workflows with governance, safety, and automation, or continue using Claude as a chatbot instead of an infrastructure layer.

Course Eligibility

  • Backend engineers who want to integrate AI deeply into real world development workflows beyond autocomplete.
  • Full stack developers looking to automate testing, reviews, planning, and refactoring using Claude Code.
  • ML and AI engineers who want structured governance and production safe AI development patterns.
  • Tech leads and engineering managers designing AI native workflows for their teams.
  • Software architects responsible for maintaining system integrity while enabling AI assisted productivity.
  • DevOps engineers interested in CI gating, automation guardrails, and safe migration patterns.
  • Startup founders and CTOs building AI first engineering cultures.
  • Experienced developers who want to move from using AI tools to architecting AI powered development systems.

Course Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, etc.).
  • Experience working with Git and modern pull request workflows.
  • Familiarity with backend or full stack architecture (APIs, services, databases, CI/CD basics).
  • Understanding of automated testing concepts (unit tests, integration tests, CI pipelines).
  • Comfort working in a command line environment and navigating project repositories.
  • Access to a development machine capable of running Claude Code and a sample repository to practice on.
