FMR Agency is recruiting a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial operations within a structured logistics and international distribution environment.

The Accountant will be responsible for financial reporting, payroll management, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and overall financial record-keeping across operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support business decisions with accurate financial data. Ultimately, you will ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting to support operational efficiency and business growth.

• Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria
• Salary: ₦250,000 per month (Net)
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Work Mode: Onsite

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
• Manage payroll processing and ensure timely remittance of statutory obligations (PAYE, VAT, WHT, etc.)
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow across operations
• Track expenses, revenue, and operational costs while ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to management
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal control processes
• Liaise with auditors and support audit processes when required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in an accounting role (logistics or related industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, payroll, and statutory compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a structured, fast-paced environment
