Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and other ledger reconciliations.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and support external auditors.
  • Monitor compliance with internal controls, policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Assist in inventory accounting, cost tracking, and fixed asset management.
  • Provide timely financial insights to support management decision-making.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Required Skills

  • Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA).
  • 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience in a reputable organization (FMCG/retail/manufacturing preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and general accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Integrity, professionalism, and strong sense of responsibility.
