A company based in Rubeikwe, Port Harcourt, is seeking an Accountant to join its team. The organization is dedicated to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting operational efficiency.

• Maintain accurate accounting records in line with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, journals, and other financial transactions.
• Assist with bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and basic financial reports.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including documentation and follow-ups.
• Support compliance with statutory obligations such as taxes, pensions, and regulatory filings.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records for audit and management review.
• Perform any other accounting or administrative duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Must be a fresh graduate or have a maximum of 1 year post-NYSC experience.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software is compulsory.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Male candidates are preferred.
