Job Description

We are currently recruiting an Administrative Assistant on behalf of our client in the Oil and Gas sector.
The Administrative Assistant will report to the GM, Group Corporate Development.

The Admin/ Executive Assistant will be responsible for coordinating resources, managing schedules, coordinating
projects, drafting communications, conducting research and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. The role
is critical in enabling effective decision-making, smooth execution of strategic initiatives and timely communication
flow across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

● Provide high-quality administrative support to the GM, Group Corporate Development & Strategy.
● Manage calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate travel logistics, and prepare briefing materials.
● Draft, edit and proofread memos, reports, presentations, and correspondence for internal and external
circulation.
● Handle confidential information with a high degree of discretion and professionalism.
● Serve as an administrative liaison across the GCE’s Office, Investor Relations Secretariat, Strategy
Management Office, and Corporate Development.
● Track and follow up on action items, deliverables and deadlines arising from executive and management
meetings.
● Facilitate communication between leadership, internal teams and external stakeholders.
● Ensure alignment and effective information flow across multiple business units and secretariats.
● Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, policy developments and market dynamics to
support strategic decision-making.
● Coordinate and monitor administrative aspects of strategic initiatives and projects under SMO and
Corporate Development.
● Maintain project trackers, progress dashboards and issue logs.
● Assist in organizing corporate events, investor briefings, strategy sessions and leadership offsites.
● Support preparation of communications for board members, investors, regulators and other key
stakeholders.

Required Skills

● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, International Relations, Political Science, or a related discipline.
● Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in administrative support, office administration, research, or project coordination roles.
● A master's degree or MBA is an advantage.
● Familiarity with the oil & gas, energy, or financial services sector is desirable.
● Prior exposure to corporate development, strategy, investor relations, or consulting environments is an added advantage.
● Detail-oriented and highly organized.
● Self-motivated with strong initiative and problem-solving capability.
● Professional demeanour with a collaborative mindset.
● High ethical standards and respect for confidentiality.
● Ability to work independently while supporting multiple stakeholders.
