Job Description

The Administrative, Operations & HR Support Officer (NYSC) provides entry-level support across administrative, operations, and human resource functions. The role supports the Executive Assistant & Administration, Operations, and HR Officer by assisting with documentation, coordination, record-keeping, and routine operational tasks. This position is designed to provide hands-on exposure to corporate administration, HR processes, and operational workflows within a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support:

  • Assist with filing, documentation, data entry, and record maintenance
  • Draft basic correspondence, reports, and internal communications
  • Support scheduling of meetings, trainings, and internal activities
  • Assist with the preparation of meeting materials and minute-taking
  • Support office logistics and general administrative coordination

Operations Support:

  • Assist with daily office operations and logistics
  • Support vendor coordination and follow up on operational requests
  • Monitor office supplies and escalate replenishment needs
  • Report operational issues to the supervising officer

HR Support:

  • Assist with recruitment documentation and onboarding processes
  • Help maintain employee records, attendance logs, and leave trackers
  • Support preparation of HR documents and staff communications
  • Assist with training coordination and employee engagement activities
  • Support payroll documentation and HR data collation (non-sensitive processing)

General Support Duties:

  • Carry out assigned tasks across admin, operations, and HR functions
  • Support company events, trainings, and staff engagements
  • Perform basic research and administrative follow-ups as assigned

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (NYSC Corps Member)
  • Strong willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and teamwork mindset
