The Admissions Intern will support the Admissions Team in student recruitment and enrolment processes, gaining hands-on experience in education administration, student services, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing student applications, including data entry, file management, and document verification.
  • Help maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the admissions database.
  • Support the planning and coordination of admissions events such as school tours, assessments, and interviews.
  • Prepare admissions packets and materials for prospective students and families.
  • Conduct follow-up calls or emails to prospective applicants under the guidance of admissions staff.
  • Support the Admissions Teams at both internal and external events, as required (approximately 8-10 Saturdays per year and occasional evenings).
  • Perform general administrative duties as assigned.
  • Gain valuable experience in school admissions and enrolment processes.
  • Develop administrative and communication skills in an educational setting.
  • Network with professionals in the education field.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.
  • A recent graduate with 0 – 2 years of experience in business development, field sales, customer service, or outreach, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented.
  • Ability to maintain a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Team player with a collaborative attitude.
  • Commitment to upholding the values and ethos of Charterhouse Lagos.
