PIC Hospitality is seeking a dedicated Assistant Cook to support kitchen operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment near The Polytechnic Ibadan. • Assist in preparing and cooking menu items according to approved recipes
• Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, seasoning, and portioning accurately
• Ensure all food meets quality standards and presentation guidelines consistently
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, utensils, and workstations
• Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or spoiled items promptly to supervisors
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing incoming food supplies properly
• Package customer orders accurately to support efficient service delivery
• Perform opening, closing, and other assigned kitchen duties reliably

• OND qualification or equivalent certification
• 1 year of experience in a restaurant or fast-food outlet is an advantage
• Basic cooking and food preparation skills (hands-on training provided)
• Good understanding of food hygiene principles and safety protocols
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-volume environment
• Strong teamwork orientation and collaborative communication style
• Excellent time management and attention to detail for consistent output
• Physical stamina for standing during shifts and handling kitchen tasks
