Burger King (Allied Food and Confectionary Services Ltd.) is looking for an Assistant Financial Reporting Manager to join our team in Victoria Island, Lagos. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing general ledger processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This is a fully onsite position.

· Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal
· Perform periodic physical audits of fixed assets to ensure accuracy of records
· Calculate and record depreciation expenses according to company policy and regulatory requirements
· Oversee the general ledger accounting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and IFRS
· Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of the general ledger
· Analyze financial transactions to identify discrepancies or irregularities
· Interpret and apply IFRS accounting standards to ensure accurate financial reporting
· Prepare and post IFRS-compliant accounting entries, including accruals, prepayments, and provisions
· Stay updated on changes to IFRS standards and communicate implications to the finance team
· Interpret and apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to financial reporting and analysis
· Ensure compliance with GAAP requirements in all financial transactions and reporting activities
· Preparation of audit schedules and documentation for both internal and external audits
· Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
· ACA or equivalent certification preferred
· Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a focus on fixed assets and general ledger
· Experience in financial reporting within a QSR, Manufacturing, or Audit Firm will be an added advantage
