A company building a web-based, simulated, autonomous control system for manufacturing processes is looking for a skilled and self-driven Backend Engineer. The role involves designing complex system architectures and building a reliable backend structure from the ground up. This is a full-time contract position with the opportunity for Full-Time Employment (FTE). The work is remote/WFH.

• Tech Stack Focus: FastAPI, StreamLit, Python
• Domain: Deeptech, Manufacturing Simulation, Process Orchestration

• Build and maintain fast, scalable REST APIs using FastAPI and StreamLit.
• Build a manufacturing simulation engine (processes and equipment).
• Design and manage databases and data models.
• Build a digital twin service.
• Integrate AI copilot and RTRT engine.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs.
• Collaborate closely with the frontend team to ensure smooth API communication.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Ensure backend performance, security, and reliability.

• Strong proficiency in FastAPI (this is a must).
• Familiarity with JWT authentication and OAuth.
• Has working knowledge of various Languages, Frameworks, Databases, Architectures, Security, and Infrastructure.
• Can integrate AI/ML.
• Experience with simulation systems is advantageous.
• Experience building APIs or Data Pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of Python.
• Ability to integrate Basic Numerical Computing like ODEs (Ordinary Differential Equations) is advantageous.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with tools like Docker, Git, and libraries like NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, Pandas, etc.
• Access to own working laptop.
