Job Description

We are looking to hire a competent and dependable Building / Facility Manager to manage the smooth day-to-day running of our facility. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating service providers, overseeing maintenance activities, managing inventory and expenses, and ensuring the facility operates efficiently while meeting client and stakeholder expectations.

Work Location: 30, Ope Ewe Street, off Bioyin, Ijaiye Ojokoro, Lagos

Key Responsibilities

•Manage daily facility operations, including supervision of both technical and support staff
•Oversee and coordinate vendors, contractors, and subcontractors on all assigned tasks
•Create duty schedules, technical rotations, and shift plans, ensuring strict adherence
•Maintain accurate records for maintenance schedules, work orders, material usage, invoices, and job completion reports
•Monitor preventive maintenance activities and initiate PM requests at least two weeks ahead
•Track daily inventory of consumables, determine reorder points, and carry out weekly stock checks
•Consolidate departmental material requests and raise purchase orders before stock shortages occur
•Prepare and submit weekly operational reports covering completed, ongoing, and pending works
•Manage petty cash, monitor expenditures, and carry out reconciliations
•Serve as the primary contact for clients, suppliers, contractors, and service providers
•Conduct daily toolbox meetings with facility personnel
•Supervise payment and management of utility services such as electricity, water, waste disposal, and parking

Required Skills

•BSc, B.Tech, or HND in Architecture, Building •Engineering, or a related discipline
•NYSC discharge or exemption certificate is mandatory
•Professional certifications will be an added advantage
•Minimum of 2–4 years relevant experience in facility or building management
•Solid understanding of building operations and facility contract administration
•Proximity to the project location is highly preferred
•Ability to communicate effectively in Yoruba is required

Skills & Competencies

•Technical Skills: Working knowledge of CAD software, •Microsoft Office tools, and Google Workspace
•Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building and communication abilities
•Leadership: Ability to supervise teams, delegate tasks, and drive performance
•Financial Skills: Experience in expense control, budgeting, and basic financial planning
•Problem Solving: Proactive mindset with the ability to suggest and implement improvements

Residency Requirement: Applicants must live within Ijaiye Ojokoro, Abúlé-Egba, Alagbado, or Alimiosho axis.
