We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our team and report to the Managing Director. The role involves exploring business opportunities, analyzing data, developing proposals, and supporting the firm's diversification and consultancy activities, with a preference for candidates who have experience in the aviation sector.

• Reports To: Managing Director
• Remuneration: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000

• Explore external business opportunities by contacting potential partners and clients.
• Identify business issues, gather and analyze data, and propose data-driven solutions.
• Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
• Assess potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials.
• Develop and present proposals.
• Assess internal factors with potential to produce value and determine leveraging grounds for the company.
• Investigate and rigorously assess profitable investments aligned with the firm's diversification interests.
• Maintain and improve the firm's relationship with potential partners in the aviation industry and beyond (stakeholder management).
• Participate in the firm's consultancy activities and perform evaluations.
• Generate reports on business development activities as required.

Business Analyst Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop revenue-generating proposals to deliver value and fill existing gaps for clients.
• Gain an understanding of Aglow Aviation's vision and business processes.
• Develop periodic documents and presentations evaluating Nigeria's aviation sector.
• Document processes and solutions to help refine and proffer solutions to aviation sector challenges (including diagrams).
• Develop innovative and competitive ideas that challenge the status quo by creating initiatives that enhance established policy, procedures, and protocol.

• Educational Qualifications: HND or Bachelor's degree. Preference for industry-based certificates or training.
• Work Experience: Preference for work experience in the aviation sector.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and knowledge of alternate analytical applications.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Solid time management skills.
  • Solid numerical skills.
  • Strong research and business writing skills.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
