Job Description

This role supports our business development operations across the maritime, dredging, construction, and oil & gas sectors, focusing on lead generation, client engagement, and market insights to drive company growth across Nigeria’s industrial landscape

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual sales and business development strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Must be familiar with the NIPEX platform.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with IOCs, NOCs, EPC contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Lead the full tendering cycle from opportunity identification to proposal preparation, pricing, negotiation, and contract award.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key decision-makers and industry influencers.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, including charter parties and MSAs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry intelligence to support strategic planning.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, exhibitions, and client meetings.
  • Ensure all business development activities align with the company’s HSEQ policies and standards.
     

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field (MBA is an added advantage).
  • 5 years of verifiable business development, sales, or commercial experience in oil & gas, marine, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record in tender management, contract negotiation, and client relationship development.
  • Familiarity with Nigerian regulatory bodies such as NIMASA and NAPIMS is an advantage.
