Hopeful Academy, a project of Rescue the Hopeless Mission (RHM), is seeking a responsible and skilled Chef to join its mission-driven team in Ibadan. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious and hygienic meals for students and supporting the wellbeing of the children entrusted to their care.

• Prepare nutritious and hygienic meals for students.
• Support the wellbeing of the children entrusted to the organisation's care.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, cleanliness, discipline, and attention to food hygiene and safety.
• Contribute to the broader work and activities of RHM beyond meal preparation when reasonably required.

• A minimum of SSCE (O'Level) is required. Candidates with relevant culinary training, qualifications, skills, or experience will be considered.
• Demonstrable cooking and food preparation skills, preferably with experience preparing meals for groups.
• Applicants with professional culinary training or relevant catering experience will have an advantage.
• Must be honest and willing to support the mission, vision, and values of Rescue the Hopeless Mission (RHM).
• A genuine passion for serving and caring for underprivileged children and supporting their wellbeing through proper nutrition.
• Must demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, cleanliness, discipline, and attention to food hygiene and safety.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work respectfully with children, staff, volunteers, and other members of the mission.
• Willingness to work as part of a mission-driven team and participate in professional development and capacity-building programmes.
• Must be willing to contribute to the broader work and activities of RHM beyond meal preparation when reasonably required.
