The Cloud & Platform Engineering Intern will support the setup, administration, and monitoring of cloud-hosted systems, assist with Microsoft 365 administration, and work with GitHub repositories and CI/CD workflows.

Interns will work in a real business environment with exposure to multi-cloud environments and SaaS hosting.

• Support the setup, administration, and monitoring of cloud-hosted systems and environments.
• Assist with Microsoft 365, identity, access, permissions, and tenant administration where required.
• Support deployment and hosting of internal and customer-facing SaaS applications.
• Work with GitHub repositories, branches, pull requests, GitHub Actions, and basic CI/CD workflows.
• Assist with domains, DNS, SSL certificates, databases, storage, backups, and application environments.
• Monitor cloud usage, performance, availability, security, and cost, escalating issues where appropriate.
• Maintain clear technical documentation for environments, configurations, deployments, and changes.
• Work with developers and the Technical Service Delivery Lead on releases, troubleshooting, and platform improvements.

• Basic understanding of cloud computing and infrastructure concepts.
• Some practical exposure to at least one cloud or hosting platform.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Basic understanding of web applications, APIs, databases, networking, or software deployment.
• Genuine interest in DevOps, cloud security, infrastructure, and SaaS environments.
• Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to investigate unfamiliar technologies.
• Ability to document work clearly and communicate when support or escalation is required.
• Responsible approach to security, credentials, access, and customer environments.
