• Build and assemble cold rooms and industrial refrigerators according to specifications
• Install refrigeration units, insulation panels, and cooling systems accurately
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing cold storage facilities
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in refrigeration equipment
• Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and food preservation requirements
• Monitor temperature controls and calibrate systems for optimal performance
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and organized condition
• Document installation processes, maintenance activities, and repair histories
• Collaborate with logistics teams to minimize downtime during construction or repairs

• OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Engineering or related technical field
• Proven experience building and maintaining cold rooms and refrigerators
• Technical background from companies specializing in refrigeration or cold chain infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, insulation materials, and electrical systems
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow engineering specifications
• Physical fitness for manual labor and working in varying temperature environments
• Problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex refrigeration issues
• Commitment to safety protocols and quality workmanship standards
