Job Description

Our client is seeking to engage a Company Secretary (Support Staff) to provide administrative and operational support to the Legal Department. The role is primarily supportive in nature and will assist in ensuring effective documentation, coordination, and record-keeping within the corporate governance and legal framework of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute notices, agendas and supporting materials for board and committee meetings
  • Attend board meetings, record minutes and maintain accurate records of board proceedings
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of statutory documents with regulatory authorities
  • Monitor changes in company law and ensure compliance with corporate governance guidelines, listing rules and other regulatory requirements
  • Provide guidance and support to directors and senior management on corporate governance matters
  • Liaising with regulatory authority which is NAICOM
  • Communicate with external advisors, legal counsel and auditors on corporate governance and compliance issues
  • Conduct corporate governance reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Stay updated on changes to corporate law, regulations and governance practices

Required Skills

  • Must be female
  • Must not be above 26 years of age as at 2026
  • Bachelor's Degree or HND with a minimum of Second Class Lower (2.2) / Upper Credit
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of office administration and documentation processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High level of organization, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and take instructions
