Key Responsibilities

-Regulatory Oversight: Monitor, interpret, and implement evolving local and international financial regulations.
-Policy Development: Design, update, and enforce compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks.
-Risk Management: Conduct compliance risk assessments, audits, and investigations; recommend corrective actions.
-Training & Awareness: Lead compliance training programs to embed a culture of accountability across teams.
-Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison with regulators, auditors, and external partners.
-Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance in areas such as AML, KYC, data protection, treasury operations, and reporting.
-Strategic Input: Advise leadership on compliance risks and opportunities, contributing to long‑term business strategy.

Required Skills

-Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
-Professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA, CCO, CFA compliance modules) strongly preferred.
-Minimum 7+ years of compliance experience in financial services, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
-Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks (AML, Basel III, GDPR, IFRS, local banking laws).
-Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
-Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
-Proven track record of building compliance frameworks in fast‑growing organizations.
