Wrapped CBDC Ltd (cNGN) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Support Officer to support its Legal & Compliance function in maintaining regulatory compliance and strong internal controls.

• Support the Legal & Compliance team in the day-to-day implementation of the company's compliance framework, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct regulatory and legal research and assist in monitoring changes in applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with KYC/KYB, AML/CFT, sanctions screening, customer due diligence (CDD), and enhanced due diligence (EDD) processes.
• Review compliance documentation and ensure that required records, approvals, and supporting documents are properly maintained.
• Support periodic compliance monitoring and internal reviews, identifying gaps and escalating issues to the appropriate team members.
• Assist in preparing compliance reports, regulatory submissions, compliance trackers, memos, and other documentation.
• Support the team in responding to regulatory requests, audits, inspections, and information requests.
• Monitor outstanding compliance actions and follow up with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution.
• Work closely with Legal, Finance, Operations, Product, Business Development, and other teams on compliance-related matters.
• Maintain accurate and confidential compliance records and assist with the continuous improvement of compliance processes.

• LL.B / Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognised institution.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in Legal, Compliance, AML/KYC, Regulatory Affairs, Fintech, Banking, or Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of legal and regulatory principles.
• Excellent legal research, writing, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Called to the Nigerian Bar (BL) is an added advantage.
• Experience in fintech, digital assets, blockchain, payments, or other regulated financial services is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with AML/CFT, KYC/KYB, sanctions, and regulatory compliance frameworks is an added advantage.
