About the Company

Aruwa Capital Management is an investment firm that works with portfolio businesses and their founders. The company produces content about its portfolio, founders, and events across social media and other channels. The role sits within that content function, working directly with the Content Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit short videos, founder interviews and event footage for social media
  • Help plan and record interviews, shoots and behind-the-scenes content
  • Turn longer interviews and ideas into clear, engaging short-form content
  • Research topics, develop content ideas, and write captions and interview questions
  • Prepare content for publishing, including subtitles, sound, formatting and basic quality checks
  • Keep footage and project files organised, manage feedback, and meet agreed deadlines

Required Skills

  • You already create content — on your own social accounts, for clients, for a community or at work
  • You can edit video using tools you know well
  • You can tell a clear story — choose a useful angle, structure content, and write accurately
  • You are reliable — communicate clearly, take feedback, and follow through on deadlines
  • You are curious about African businesses and founders
  • Your work matters more than a particular degree or job title

Why This Job Might Be a Good Fit
This role suits a content creator who already produces and edits work and wants hands-on experience covering African businesses and founders rather than generic brand content. Because the position covers shooting, editing, and publishing across interview and social formats, it builds a portfolio of business storytelling that transfers across investment firms, media, and brand content teams.
