In the next 5 years, we want Tix to be Africa's most loved ticketing platform, and that's where YOU come in. We're looking for a Senior Content Creator who lives and breathes social media, understands what makes content go viral, and knows how to build engaged communities online.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who can do it all: shoot compelling video and photo content, write sharp and engaging copy, edit like a pro, and manage our social media presence with creativity and consistency.

You will be responsible for creating content that tells the Tix story, showcases our customers' events, and builds a loyal, engaged community of event creators and attendees across all our social platforms.

• Create high-quality, engaging content for Tix's social media channels, including short-form videos, graphics, photos, and written posts
• Shoot and edit video content for social media, ensuring it's on-brand, culturally relevant, and optimised for each channel
• Write compelling, on-brand copy for social media posts, captions, and community engagement that resonates with our audience
• Manage Tix's social media accounts, including planning and scheduling content, responding to comments and messages, and actively building community
• Stay on top of social media trends, platform updates, and cultural moments, and quickly adapt our content strategy to stay relevant
• Attend events, activations, and shoots to capture behind-the-scenes and user-generated content that brings the Tix brand to life
• Track and report on content performance, using insights to continuously improve engagement, reach, and community growth

• 4+ years of experience in content creation, social media management, or a similar role, with a strong portfolio of work
• Exceptional video shooting and editing skills, with proficiency in tools like CapCut or similar
• A natural storyteller with a sharp eye for what makes content engaging, shareable, and culturally relevant
• Strong copywriting skills; you know how to write captions that stop the scroll and drive engagement
• Deep understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) and what works on each
• A proactive, self-starter mentality; you don't wait to be told what to create - you see opportunities and act on them
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple content projects and meet deadlines consistently
• An unwavering commitment to quality, consistency, and attention to detail
• An open mind, a willingness to learn, and a solid commitment to continuous self-improvement
