The Content Editor Intern will edit audio content for African history, folklore, legends, and cultural stories, combine narration, music, and sound effects, and support the creation of content for social media and other digital platforms.

Ìṣèda is building a platform that helps people rediscover African history, culture, traditions, legends, and stories through engaging digital experiences. The company is looking for Content Editor Interns to help transform African stories into engaging digital content.

• Edit audio content for African history, folklore, legends and cultural stories.
• Edit storytelling content designed for children and young audiences.
• Combine narration, music, sound effects and other elements to create engaging stories.
• Add transitions, subtitles, captions and basic visual effects.
• Clean up and enhance audio where necessary.
• Work with narrators and the creative team during recording and post-production.
• Help develop new recordings into polished, engaging digital content.
• Support the creation of content for social media and other digital platforms.

• OND, HND or BSc, or currently pursuing a relevant qualification.
• Basic knowledge of video editing and content production.
• Familiarity with editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar tools.
• Good understanding of storytelling and visual presentation.
• Ability to work with voice recordings, music and visual assets.
• Interest in African history, culture and storytelling.
• Willingness to learn, experiment and receive feedback.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a creative team.
• Willingness to come into the studio for recording and content production sessions.
