- A well-motivated and proactive person
- B.Sc. degree or Higher Diploma in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or any other Social Science related courses with a minimum of 2 years post-NYSC experience.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing data sets and data visualisation (Excel, SPSS, SAS, STATA, GIS, Power BI etc.) and database design and management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail.
- Proficient at queries, report writing, and presentation of findings.
- The position will be based in Akure with occasional field trip visits to project areas.
- Proficiency in GIS software, GPS equipment, and remote sensing technologies.
- Ability to accurately collect, record, and manage data, and ensure data quality and completeness.
- Ability to communicate technical information and data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a changing and dynamic environment and adapt to new technologies and approaches.
- Basic knowledge and skills in general agriculture, especially cocoa farm management/agroforestry
- Experience with field data collection and GPS equipment, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
