The Data & Research Officer will work by designing research strategies, ensuring that findings inform effective advocacy, policymaking, and social impact. The role involves designing and developing both qualitative and quantitative research that aligns with our vision, ensuring our data and research work is timely, credible, and accurate. Additionally, it requires curating and analyzing data, and producing reports in a user-friendly format, all while driving data-driven advocacy and monitoring the effectiveness of policies and interventions.

• Job Location: Abuja
• Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in quantitative and qualitative research

• Conducts research: Designs and implements research studies to gather insights on key issues.
• Collects and analyzes data: Gathers and analyzes data from various sources to inform decision-making.
• Provides insights: Interprets data and provides recommendations to stakeholders.
• Manages data systems: Maintains databases and ensures data quality and security.
• Supports reporting: Contributes to reports, publications, and presentations.
• Collaborates with teams: Works with program teams to integrate research findings into programs and policies.
• Monitors and evaluates: Tracks project progress and evaluates impact using data.

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in quantitative and qualitative research.
• Excellent skills in quantitative data analysis and qualitative insights.
• Experience in various research and data analysis methods, including tools such as Kobo Toolbox, ODK Platform, and Microsoft Excel, R, SQL, among others.
• Keen attention to detail, ability to work as part of a team, and capability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to deadlines.
