Our client is a financial services organization focused on data-driven decision-making across credit risk, lending, and financial services. The company is seeking a Data Scientist to support predictive modeling and machine learning initiatives.

• Develop and evaluate predictive models for credit risk and lending outcomes.
• Use Python, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch and other data science tools for data analysis and machine learning.
• Design, develop and deploy machine learning models as APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
• Clean, preprocess and analyse large financial and credit-risk datasets.
• Monitor model performance and ensure scalability, reliability and accuracy after deployment.
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to support risk assessment and lending decisions.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security and regulatory requirements.
• Document data sources, methodologies and model parameters for transparency and reproducibility.
• Explore LLMs and NLP to analyse unstructured financial data and enhance business solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in Data Science or a related field, preferably in financial services.
• Proven experience with Python and data science libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-Learn and TensorFlow.
• Experience working with credit lending, credit risk or financial datasets is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of SQL, Apache Spark, Jupyter Notebooks, FastAPI/Flask.
• Experience with AWS and/or GCP is an advantage.
• Familiarity with LLMs and NLP is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in Data Science, Azure, TensorFlow or similar are an added advantage.
