Job Description

I'm looking for someone experienced with DaVinci Resolve Studio to help color grade a video. The footage is quite dark, so it needs someone who actually knows how to color grade properly. An experienced editor should be able to dial this in within about 15 to 30 minutes. Additional tasks include applying denoise and deflicker (both are 1-click tools in the Studio version, which is required). This is a quick, remote freelance task.

Location: Remote
Pay: $20
Estimated work time: Under 1 hour (likely much less), plus download and render time.

Key Responsibilities

Workflow:

  • I will send you a 1-minute sample first so you can test the grade
  • Once the look is correct, the same settings apply to the entire video
  • The full video is about 2 hours long, but it is one continuous shot with identical lighting and camera angle, so you only need to worry about grading once

Important Note: The raw file is around 80GB. That means the download will take time, and the render will also take time. This is normally not an issue because you can simply download overnight and render overnight, but if you have very slow internet or a weak computer, this might not be the right gig for you.

Required Skills

  • Experience with DaVinci Resolve Studio
  • Ability to properly color grade dark footage
  • Reliable internet connection and computer capable of handling large files
  • DaVinci Resolve Studio (required for denoise and deflicker tools)
