The Debt Recovery Officer will follow up on overdue loan repayments, negotiate repayment plans with customers, monitor delinquent accounts, maintain recovery records, ensure compliance, and work closely with credit and operations teams to reduce portfolio risk.

• Follow up on overdue loan repayments through calls, emails, and visits where necessary.
• Negotiate repayment plans with customers.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and escalate unresolved cases appropriately.
• Maintain accurate recovery records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with the credit and operations teams to reduce portfolio risk.

• HND/BSc in any related discipline.
• 1-2 years experience in debt recovery, collections, or credit operations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet recovery targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience in a financial institution is an advantage.
