Job Description

Kuda is seeking a Direct Sales Agent to play a pivotal role in driving growth objectives through proactive sales efforts, effective relationship-building, and unwavering commitment to compliance and customer satisfaction. You will prospect and generate leads, market Kuda's financial products, and ensure seamless customer onboarding. The position is based in Ikeja, Lagos with a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Actively market Kuda's array of financial products, including personal & business banking, loans, and POS terminals, to prospective customers within the designated territory.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets by acquiring new customers and expanding the customer base.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms of sale to close deals according to the company's pricing.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
  • Ensure thorough compliance with all bank policies and regulatory requirements, including KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering).
  • Educate potential clients on the benefits of transitioning to electronic banking solutions and ensure their seamless onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in CRM software.
  • Participate in roadshows, community fairs, and other local events to promote the bank's services.
  • Provide feedback to marketing and product teams on customer experiences.
  • Understand client needs and proffer solutions to meet their specific business needs.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients, including training and troubleshooting assistance.

Required Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Direct Sales Agent or similar sales/customer service role; experience in the banking or financial services sector is highly preferred.

Probation Duration
The first three months of employment will serve as a probationary period. During this time, the agent will participate in training, acquaint themselves with company policies, and showcase their ability to achieve sales objectives while providing outstanding customer service. Regular evaluations will determine eligibility for ongoing employment.
