The Electrical Technician will carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and systems, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot electrical faults, and support the maintenance of industrial machines. This role requires a candidate with a technical qualification in Electrical Engineering and relevant experience.

African Industries is a leading industrial company dedicated to manufacturing and production excellence. The organization is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to join its maintenance and engineering team in a dynamic industrial environment.

• Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, panels, cables, and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
• Support the maintenance of industrial machines and production equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential faults and prevent equipment breakdown.
• Work closely with Electrical Engineers and other maintenance personnel to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

• OND, HND, Trade Test, or equivalent technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or steel production environment will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, motors, control panels, cables, and industrial electrical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret basic electrical diagrams and drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
