The Electronics Technician III will perform housekeeping jobs to keep the workshop and tools in proper order, prepare solar panel installation, assist in maintenance of basic laboratory equipment, and set up sound systems at the Conference center and other locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform housekeeping jobs to keep the workshop and tools in proper order.
  • Receive phone calls for seminar.
  • Prepare a log of work done.
  • Prepare solar panel installation.
  • Help repair oven.
  • Help in maintenance of basic laboratory equipment.
  • Set up sound system at Conference center and other locations.
  • Coordinate sound system during functions and seminars.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Required Skills

  • Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Electronics, Trade Test 1-Electronics Works, or a related field, with at least two (2) years of relevant work experience.
  • Good practical knowledge of electronics and electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Practical knowledge of solar PV installation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Ability to assist in the maintenance and repair of basic laboratory and electronic equipment.
  • Good practical skills in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting sound/PA systems and audio-visual equipment.
  • Ability to use electronic test instruments, hand tools, and workshop equipment effectively and safely.
  • Good fault-finding, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate work logs, maintenance records, and basic technical reports.
  • Good knowledge of workshop, electrical, electronics, and equipment safety practices.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to work independently, follow instructions and procedures, manage multiple tasks, and demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, discipline, and willingness to learn.
