Our client is a farm organization in Ogun State focused on poultry and agricultural production. The company is seeking a skilled Farm Laboratory Technician to support laboratory testing, sample collection, disease monitoring, and quality control activities.

• Collect, label, preserve, and document samples from birds, eggs, feed, water, litter, and environmental surfaces.
• Assist with post-mortem sample collection and tissue preservation.
• Perform routine laboratory tests including microscopy, bacterial culture, water quality, serological, feed, egg, and environmental examinations.
• Prepare laboratory reagents, media, and other testing materials.
• Operate, clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and sample traceability.
• Identify abnormal results and promptly report findings to the supervising Veterinarian.
• Maintain strict laboratory safety, GLP, biosecurity, and hygiene standards.

• OND/HND/B.Sc./B.Tech. in Medical Laboratory Technology/Science, Veterinary Laboratory Technology, Animal Health Technology, Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, Science Laboratory Technology, Animal Science, or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional certification/registration is an added advantage.
• Practical knowledge of laboratory procedures and testing equipment.
• Good understanding of GLP, laboratory safety, and farm biosecurity.
• Strong attention to detail, record-keeping, communication, and analytical skills.
• Previous experience in a poultry/farm laboratory environment is an advantage.
