Key Responsibilities

  • Installing, commissioning, and maintaining fluid control equipment, valves, and related systems at client and field sites.
  • Operating and monitoring equipment in line with technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Carrying out routine and preventive maintenance checks and documenting findings.
  • Troubleshooting equipment faults and escalating issues to the Field Supervisor as required.
  • Ensuring full compliance with HSE policies and industry safety regulations at all times.
  • Maintaining accurate field activity logs, maintenance records, and equipment status reports.
  • Providing technical support to client site personnel during field operations.
  • Supporting senior engineers and technicians on complex assignments and special projects.

Required Skills

  • B.Sc / B.Eng / HND / OND in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering; or Physics, Chemistry, or a related Sciences discipline.
  • 0 – 2 years of hands-on experience in a field, operations, or technical role.
  • Prior exposure to oil and gas or industrial environments is an advantage.
  • Basic familiarity with fluid control systems, mechanical equipment, or instrumentation is desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, or equipment manuals.
  • Strong attention to detail with a firm commitment to safety and quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physically fit and able to work in field and site conditions.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as operational demands require.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Port Harcourt.
