About the Company

Nolton Africa is a research and development organization seeking detail-oriented Field Enumerators for an upcoming monitoring assignment. The team delivers evidence-based insights that drive impact across communities in Lagos and Ogun States, offering short-term project work for professionals passionate about accurate data collection and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct face-to-face interviews and surveys with respondents in assigned communities
  • Collect accurate and complete primary data using tablets or mobile data collection tools
  • Engage respectfully with community leaders and participants to facilitate smooth fieldwork
  • Verify data quality in real-time and resolve discrepancies during enumeration
  • Adhere strictly to sampling protocols and ethical research guidelines
  • Submit daily field reports and completed questionnaires to supervisors promptly
  • Maintain confidentiality of respondent information and sensitive data collected
  • Navigate assigned geographical areas efficiently to meet daily coverage targets
  • Provide feedback on field challenges and suggest improvements for future rounds

Required Skills

  • Experience conducting field research, household surveys, or community monitoring
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging diverse community members professionally
  • Proficiency in using mobile data collection platforms (e.g., ODK, KoboToolbox, SurveyCTO)
  • Ability to work independently in remote or semi-urban field environments
  • Physical fitness for walking long distances and working outdoors in varying weather
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Yoruba or Pidgin is highly advantageous for local engagement
  • Previous experience with development projects, NGOs, or market research firms preferred
