The Field Officer will coordinate field activities, engage community stakeholders and contractors, and support the delivery, monitoring, and documentation of WASH interventions in Isale Agoro, Epe, Lagos.

Its flagship Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) programme incorporates innovative, renewable, and circular technologies to tackle critical challenges facing underserved communities.

• Represent Optimal Greening in Isale Agoro community, serving as the primary field contact and maintaining positive relationships with community stakeholders.
• Coordinate and support day-to-day project implementation in line with approved work plans and timelines.
• Liaise with community leaders, volunteers, contractors, and government representatives to facilitate smooth project delivery.
• Monitor field activities and contractor performance to ensure quality implementation.
• Conduct routine community visits, mobilization, and sensitization activities.
• Support baseline surveys, needs assessments, focus group discussions, and advocacy visits.
• Support capacity-building sessions for community volunteers and local leaders.
• Identify and report field challenges, risks, and community concerns promptly.
• Collect and maintain accurate field data, beneficiary records, and project documentation.
• Prepare timely field reports, activity updates, and photographic documentation.
• Ensure project activities comply with policies, donor requirements, and safeguarding standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Environmental Science, Community Development, Engineering, Public Health, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 1–2 years' experience in a field-based role, preferably supporting WASH, environmental sustainability, or community development projects.
• Demonstrated experience in community engagement and working with diverse stakeholders.
• Must be resident in Epe LG or nearby communities and able to commute to Isale Agoro.
• Good understanding of the nonprofit sector is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, report writing, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
