Job Description

We’re looking for a high-performing Field Sales & Activation Manager to lead, plan, and execute strategic field activities that drive customer acquisition, product adoption, and brand visibility.

This role combines sales leadership, market activations, and on-the-ground execution, perfect for someone who can sell, motivate teams, manage activations, and bring a brand to life in the streets, markets, campuses, events, and partner locations.

Key Responsibilities

Field Sales Leadership

  • Lead, recruit, train, and motivate field sales reps / agents.
  • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets across allocated territories.
  • Build strong relationships with merchants, partners, distributors, or retail points.
  • Monitor pipeline, conversions, and performance using CRM or reporting tools.
  • Conduct regular market visits, field audits, and quality checks.

Activation & Brand Awareness

  • Plan and execute market activations, roadshows, campus drives, and community events.
  • Coordinate sampling, demos, product trials, and engagement experiences.
  • Deploy brand materials, signage, and merchandise in strategic hotspots.
  • Identify high-traffic locations for impactful brand exposure.
  • Track ROI on activations and optimize future campaigns.

Market Intelligence

  • Gather insights on competition, pricing, customer needs, and emerging trends.
  • Report market feedback to management for product and positioning improvement.
  • Recommend new territories, activation ideas, and customer acquisition strategies.

Operational Management

  • Manage budgets for field sales and activations.
  • Ensure compliance with field processes, brand guidelines, and reporting standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, inventory, and field activities.

Required Skills

  • 3–7 years experience in Field Sales, Activations, Trade Marketing, or Territory Management.
  • Experience in FMCG, Fintech, Telecoms, Consumer Tech, or Retail is a strong advantage.
  • Strong leadership skills; able to motivate and manage field teams.
  • Hands-on execution style: willing to be in the field, not just directing from a desk.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to plan activations, manage logistics, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong reporting, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, target-driven environments.
