Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with reviewing and verifying daily financial transactions.
  • Support reconciliation of financial records.
  • Assist in checking transaction vouchers, payment documents, and supporting schedules.
  • Compare transaction records with system postings and identify discrepancies.
  • Support bank and ledger reconciliations.
  • Support the review of income, expenses, assets, and liabilities for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with maintaining proper documentation and filing of financial records.
  • Support the Finance team in monitoring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Assist in identifying control exceptions, errors, and unusual transactions and escalate them appropriately.
  • Support audit and regulatory documentation when required.
  • Perform other finance and control-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking & Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 0–1 year of experience; fresh graduates and candidates seeking internship opportunities are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling financial information.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop a career in banking and finance.
