A reputable national microfinance bank is looking for an ideal candidate for the position of a Finance Officer.

Reports to: Head of Finance

• Daily bank reconciliation.
• Processing of payment vouchers
• Reconciliation of all internal GL accounts.
• Processing and payment of petty cash of Head office and branches.
• Statutory remittances of tax-WHT, Development levy, PAYE etc within statutory period
• Processing and posting of journals and other transactions on core banking software.
• Timely procurement of tax receipts and other tax documents from relevant tax authorities
• Processing of all insurance transactions of the organization
• Processing and payment of cash advance
• Managing of fixed asset register
• Responsible for maintaining accruals and prepayment
• Any other function that may be assigned by the Head of Department.

• Minimum of BSc. /HND in accounting or finance from a reputable institution, ACA is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office tools — word, Excel, and power point
• Good understanding of accounting and IFRS standards
• 2 — 3 years related experience.
