Our client in the FMCG sector is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Officer – Stock Count to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting physical stock counts, reconciling inventory with SAP balances, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting to support financial integrity and internal controls. 

The Finance Officer – Stock Count will be responsible for reconciling physical inventory with SAP system balances and providing timely, accurate stock reconciliation reports to Management. This role is critical in maintaining inventory integrity, supporting financial accuracy, and enhancing internal controls.

Location: Iganmu, Lagos

• Conduct physical stock-taking across all Nigerian locations
• Reconcile physical inventory with SAP system balances
• Investigate stock variances and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare and submit periodic stock reconciliation reports to Management
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy
• Support the strengthening of internal control processes

• Bsc/HND in Finance or related fields
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Willingness to travel within Nigeria for stock-taking exercises
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, etc.) is an added advantage
