Our client, a reputable travel agency, is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Flight Ticketing Officer to manage flight bookings, ticket issuance, re-issuance, and reservations. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of airline systems, fare rules, and travel regulations to deliver accurate, timely, and cost-effective ticketing services.

Job Title: Flight Ticketing Officer
Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

• Handle flight reservations, ticket issuance, re-issuance, refunds and cancellations
• Provide clients with accurate flight options, fares, schedules and travel requirements
• Use Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo for bookings
• Ensure compliance with airline fare rules, ticketing policies and internal procedures
• Liaise with airlines and travel partners on schedule changes, waivers and special requests
• Resolve ticketing issues including date changes, name corrections and missed flights
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments and client itineraries
• Support sales and customer service teams with ticketing-related queries
• Stay updated on airline policies, promotions, and travel advisories
• Handle urgent and last-minute bookings efficiently and professionally

• OND / HND / Bachelor's degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 1–2 years' experience in flight ticketing and reservations (travel agency experience is required)
• Proficiency in at least one GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo)
• Strong understanding of airline fare structures, rules, and ticketing procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and customer service skills
