Job Description

A highly organized, professional, and customer-focused Front Desk Officer is needed to serve as the first point of contact for patients. The role involves managing patient check-in, appointments, communications, and financial duties in a fast-paced clinical environment.

  • Salary: ₦180,000 monthly
  • Employment Type: Full-time (includes one Saturday per week, rotational)

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a professional first impression
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently
  • Handle inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments accurately
  • Coordinate therapist schedules to ensure optimal patient flow
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries promptly
  • Process payments and issue receipts accurately
  • Support billing processes and maintain proper payment records
  • Maintain organized and confidential patient records
  • Perform general administrative duties including data entry and filing
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
  • Support opening and closing procedures
  • Ensure adherence to clinic policies and operational standards

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a front desk, receptionist, or administrative role
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is an added advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling tools
  • High level of discretion when handling confidential information
  • Professional and courteous demeanor
  • Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, reliable, and accountable
  • Proactive team player
