Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain responsive, performant web interfaces using modern frontend frameworks (React preferred).
  • Translate product designs and wireframes into clean, accessible, and pixel-accurate UI components.
  • Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver seamless end-to-end features.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness across all product surfaces.
  • Write well-structured, reusable, and maintainable code with appropriate documentation.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to raising engineering standards across the team.
  • Identify and resolve UI/UX bugs, performance bottlenecks, and accessibility gaps.
  • Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions as a collaborative team member.
  • Stay current with frontend trends and proactively propose improvements to the tech stack or developer experience.

Required Skills

  • 2–4 years of professional experience in frontend development.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Hands-on experience with React.js (or a comparable component-based framework).
  • Familiarity with state management tools (e.g., Redux, Zustand, or Context API).
  • Experience working with REST APIs and integrating frontend interfaces with backend services.
  • Understanding of version control workflows using Git.
  • Exposure to agile/scrum development environments.
  • Experience in a fintech, payments, or financial services product context is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance optimisation techniques is desirable.
