Job Description

The role, General Manager (G.M.), is for one of African's real estate development, sales & management, battery energy storage manufacturing & sales, amongst others company in Nigeria.

This role requires entrepreneurial, strategic alignment, operational efficiency, financial discipline, governance, and sustainable growth while protecting the investments.

Location: Lagos or Abuja
Compensation: Competitive

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Business Oversight: 
• Financial Management & Controls: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, audits, ROI tracking, and regulatory compliance.
• Governance, Risk & Compliance: Ensure compliance with Nigerian regulations; manage legal, financial, and operational risks.
• Operations & Process Optimization Standardize processes, improve efficiency, implement systems, reporting, and automation.
• People Management & Leadership Recruit and manage senior staff; set KPIs; build a performance-driven culture.
• Investment & Asset Management: Oversee real estate, operating companies, and investments; manage due diligence and scaling.
• Stakeholder Management: Represent the business to banks, regulators, partners, and advisors.

Required Skills

Experience: Prior experience in a real estate firm is non negotiable
