Job Description

The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will assist in the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of oil mill machinery and equipment, supporting preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

  • Job Location: Lagos, Abeokuta (Ogun), Okitipupa, Ore (Ondo), Ibadan (Oyo), Ado Ekiti (Ekiti), and Edo
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Salary: ₦290,000 – ₦300,000 per month + Company-provided accommodation + Paid overtime

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of oil mill machinery and equipment.
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the mill.
  • Participate in equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis.
  • Monitor machinery performance and report operational issues.
  • Assist in ensuring machinery operates efficiently and safely.
  • Support engineering projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain maintenance records and engineering documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime.
  • Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned by Management.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.Eng./B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Must have successfully completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
  • Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems, maintenance principles, and industrial equipment.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop within a manufacturing environment.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Must be willing to relocate to any of the South Western States or cities listed.
  • Must be willing to attend practical assessment onsite.
