Job Description

The Graduate Trainee – Business Development & Client Management will support the Business Development Manager in driving sales, managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring excellent customer experience.

  • Job Location: Lagos (On-site)
  • Employment Type: Graduate Trainee (Full-Time, Entry Level)
  • Salary: ₦250,000 – ₦300,000

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Support in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify new customers, competitors, and industry trends.
  • Follow up on leads and maintain an active sales pipeline.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations.

Client Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries and requests.
  • Ensure timely communication and follow-up with clients.
  • Monitor project progress and provide updates to clients.
  • Support in resolving client complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Administrative & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and business activities.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports.
  • Update CRM and client databases regularly.
  • Assist with contract documentation and project coordination.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Completion of NYSC is mandatory.
  • 0–2 years' experience in business development, sales, customer service, or client management.
  • Prior internship or experience in an engineering, construction, manufacturing, or signage company is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of technical drawings and measurements is desirable.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
