Key Responsibilities

  • Support receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of agricultural commodities.
  • Perform daily inventory reconciliation, stock verification, and cycle counts.
  • Assist with warehouse accounting, transaction posting, and financial reconciliations.
  • Support inventory costing, valuation, and ageing analysis.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Assist Trade Finance team with Letters of Credit, export documentation, and settlements.
  • Support tax computations, statutory remittances, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct routine compliance checks and support internal control procedures.
  • Record and verify inbound and outbound truck weights at weighbridge.
  • Support commodity grading, inspection, and quality assurance activities.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and KPIs.
  • Promote HSE policies and participate in safety inspections.

Required Skills

  • B.Sc. (Minimum Second Class Upper) in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
  • NYSC completed with Discharge Certificate required.
  • 0–2 years post-NYSC work experience.
  • Age specification: 25 years and below.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Professional certifications such as ICAN, ACA, ACCA, CFA, CILT, or CIPS are an added advantage.
