The Graduate Trainee Full Stack Developer will monitor the Lane website, app, and backend daily, troubleshoot and fix bugs across the front end, back end, and databases, and support ongoing platform maintenance.

• Monitor the Lane website, app and backend daily to keep uptime high and performance steady.
• Identify, troubleshoot and fix bugs across the front end, back end and databases.
• Apply updates, patches and security fixes to keep the platform safe.
• Manage and maintain APIs and third-party integrations, including payment and booking partners.
• Manage user access, backups and system permissions.
• Test all updates before release to avoid disruption for customers.
• Document fixes, changes and system processes clearly.
• Work with the operations, business development and social media teams to implement requested changes to content, pages and features.
• Take the lead on complex issues, incident response and performance optimisation.
• Review code, guide the trainee, and set maintenance standards.
• Plan and deliver small feature improvements and enhancements.
• Recommend technical improvements to management.

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• NYSC completed, or currently serving with availability for a full-time role.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Node.js.
• Basic understanding of databases, APIs and Git.
• Personal projects, internship or bootcamp experience is an advantage.
• Eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and a willingness to take feedback.
• Understanding of web security best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud hosting and server management on AWS, Google Cloud or DigitalOcean.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be based in, or able to commute reliably to, Lagos Island.
• Good written and spoken English, and the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
• Dependable, accountable and comfortable working in a fast-paced team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with travel, booking, fintech or e-commerce platforms.
• Basic knowledge of Android and iOS app maintenance.
• Familiarity with analytics and uptime-monitoring tools.
