Job Description

We are seeking Graduate trainee - Process Engineer to support design and engineering activities in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical projects. The candidate will support project team with creating, reviewing, and verifying process data, drawings, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements, international standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support review for PFDs, P&IDs, process datasheets, heat & material balances (H&MB)
• Assist with equipment sizing and process calculations (vessels, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers)
• Support in ensuring design compliance with codes, standards (API, ASME, ISO, IEC), and client specifications
• Support design coordination with mechanical, civil, and instrumentation teams
• Support vendor documents review and technical clarifications
• Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, and safety reviews during design phase
• Maintain proper document control and drawing management for engineering deliverables

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, must have completed NYSC
• Minimum 0-3 yrs of experience in process engineering design/drafting for Oil & Gas / Petrochemical projects
• Experience in refineries, LNG, gas processing, or EPC projects is an added advantage 
• Knowledge of process systems and equipment in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical plants
• knowledge of process drafting software (Aspen HYSYS/Pro-II)
• Knowledge of process calculations and design criteria
• Ability to read, interpret, and verify engineering drawings and specifications
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
